TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – On Wednesday, May 8, Bryant Bank awarded 10 Paul W. Bryant High Seniors the Paul W. Bryant, Jr. Scholarship at their annual Senior Honors Night. Each recipient was awarded a $5,000 scholarship to The University of Alabama. Kelsey Rush, VP, Marketing Director for Bryant Bank, presented the scholarships.
“It is always special to be a part of the Paul W. Bryant High School Senior Honors Night and to recognize the scholarship recipients,” said Anna Laurie Bryant McKibbens, Corporate Counsel for Bryant Bank. “At Bryant Bank, our vision is to see every Alabamian experience a financially stable future and live in a thriving community and education plays a large role in that. We hope that this scholarship will help empower the recipients to do great things while at The University of Alabama,” said McKibbens.
The scholarship recipients were: Lauren Dorrill, Ivy Fulford, Kaleah Gipson, Hunter Hart, Cedric Jones, Nicholas Pate, Hunter Smith, Kyla Thomas, N’Dia Wilder, and Connor Wright.
As Chairman of Bryant Bank, Paul W. Bryant, Jr. established the scholarship in 2004; 149 students have received a total of $745,000 in scholarships since its inception.
