DAPHNE, Ala. – Bryant Bank was a proud sponsor of the 8th annual Classic Rock 5K supporting SEEDS. The 5K race started at 8 a.m. near Daphne City Hall with the 1-mile Fun Run following at 9 o’clock. The Classic Rock Post-Race Party included live rock and roll, grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, door prizes and children’s activities.
The Bryant Bank Foley and Daphne branches joined together to support the effort. Some bankers ran in the event while others registered runners, handed out water, and gave out end of race awards. A special Thank You to banker Sarah Blackwell who was the chairperson for this event.
SEEDS is an independent, non-profit education foundation that brings together citizens of all ages who value learning and share a vision for education’s role in Daphne’s future. The Classic Rock 5K benefited the SEEDS’ Classroom Enrichment Grant Program that has invested more than $140,000 in innovative instructional projects at the five Daphne public schools and Christ the King Catholic School since 2005.
