TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Ten Paul W. Bryant High School seniors were awarded the Paul W. Bryant, Jr. Scholarship on May 7, 2015, at Senior Honors Night. The students each received a $5,000 scholarship to the University of Alabama. Anna Laurie Bryant McKibbens presented the scholarships to the students. As Chairman of Bryant Bank, Paul W. Bryant, Jr. established the scholarship in 2005; 109 students have received a total of $545,000 in scholarships since its inception.
The scholarship recipients are Kayla Hamlett, Jordan Leatherwood, Julio Lopez Jose, Micah Madison, Destiny Montgomery, Alexis Rhodes, Shanquita Ruffin, Jada Thomas, Hung Vinh, and Jasmine Winston-Williams.
