TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Ten Paul W. Bryant High School seniors were awarded the Paul W. Bryant, Jr. Scholarship on May 5, 2015, at Senior Honors Night. The students each received a $5,000 scholarship to the University of Alabama. Anna Laurie Bryant McKibbens, Corporate Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Bryant Bank, presented the scholarships to the students. As Chairman of Bryant Bank, Paul W. Bryant, Jr. established the scholarship in 2005; 119 students have received a total of $595,000 in scholarships since its inception.
The scholarship recipients are Asia Anthony, Matthew Armistead, RayKenia Bowers, Brittany Coleman, Chloe Edwards, Xavier Fields, Jaylyn Peebles, Kailyn Thomas, Camryn Walker and Darius Williams.
